2020 -2021 Season

Our Awana season kicks off on August 5th here at Northcliffe for ages 2 years old through 5th grade. Our new time this year is 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
We have many new social distancing protocols in place for Awana this year, so Awana will be looking a little different, but just as fun!  If you’re not comfortable sending your child just yet, we will have online options available as well.  Just make sure you register your child as well, so we can get you the materials needed.

Register your children here: Awana Registration.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Director of Children’s Ministry, Erin Mello. Her email address is:
erin@northcliffeonline.org or call the church office at 352-683-5882.

WHAT IS AWANA?

Awana is a children’s program that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Awana offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.  Awana is offered for ages 2 years old – 5th Grade.

Our club offers four different age groups:
Puggles: 2 – 3 1/2 Year Olds
Cubbies: 3 1/2  – 4 Year Olds
Sparks: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Truth & Training: 3rd Grade – 5th Grade

The night consists of three different sections:
1. Handbook Time: Your child will work through his or her handbook with a small group of children and a leader.
2. Large Group Time: Your child’s club will come together to hear a lesson from a teacher.
3. Game Time: Your child’s club will enjoy some active games with our volunteer coaches!

During COVID-19, we will not be doing any large group times.
